Pengembangan Alat Bantu Untuk Mencegah Kecelakaan Kerja di Tempat Parkiran

Abstract

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is gear used to protect the human body from various risks and hazards that may occur in the workplace or daily life. This research will be conducted by assembling instruments related to the indicators of work accident prevention tools and will apply images of safety equipment such as: 1) Safety Helmets, 2) Gloves, 3) Safety Shoes, 4) Safety Glasses, and 5) Safety Belts. The sample in this study consists of 30 visitors to Store AB. Based on the results of the validity and reliability tests conducted by four experts on occupational accidents, the instruments and aids for accident prevention, particularly in parking areas, from the 10 statement items in the validity test have values greater than (>) 0.3, which are considered valid. In the reliability test, if the instrument has a value greater than (>) 0.7, it can be considered reliable, making the instrument suitable for field development. The development of accident prevention tools is very important to improve occupational safety and health. Developing innovative and effective accident prevention tools can enhance workplace safety and health, especially for workers in parking areas.
